Privacy policy

By the Olivia Raven editorial teamUpdated · 3 min read

This policy explains how the website at www.oliviaraven.com ("this website") handles personal data. It does not cover the dating service in the members area, which has its own members privacy policy. For practical advice on discretion when using the dating service, see privacy and discretion.

Who is responsible

Ambervine Inc, a Delaware company, 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, is the data controller for this website. Olivia Raven is a brand name, not a person.

What this website is

This is a static information website: guides, prices and help pages. It is hosted on Vercel. There are no accounts, comment forms or member profiles on this website itself.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no advertising scripts, analytics or tracking pixels, and it doesn't build a profile of your visits. Because we set no cookies, there is no cookie banner to accept.

Server logs

Like any web host, Vercel's servers automatically log technical information when you request a page: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the time. These logs are used to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and keep it working well. We don't use them to identify individual visitors or for marketing. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website. Because the host operates globally, this data may be processed outside Ireland, the UK or the European Economic Area.

If you type your email into a join box

Some pages have a box to start joining the dating service. If you enter your email address there, it is sent to the members area at members.oliviaraven.com/join to begin your registration. From that point it is handled under the members privacy policy, not this one. This website doesn't keep a copy.

We link to official bodies, helplines and health services. When you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies.

Children

This website is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection law gives you rights over your personal data. Under the GDPR (if you are in Ireland or elsewhere in the EU) and the UK GDPR (if you are in the UK), these include the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it's used, and to complain to a regulator. Some US state laws give similar rights to their residents. Because this website collects so little, there is usually very little we hold about any one visitor.

To exercise a right, contact us through the members help centre and say that your request is about the oliviaraven.com website.

If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this policy

If anything about how this website handles data changes, such as adding analytics, we will update this policy first. The updated date shown on this page tells you when it last changed. See also our terms of use.
