What's free, and what you pay for
You can join, build a profile, browse and receive interest without paying anything. Paying is what lets you read and reply to messages, along with features such as read receipts, seeing who viewed you and viewing photos in full. Free members see adverts. The members area shows each plan and its exact price before you pay:

The members area shows the exact price of each plan, and the billing name for your statement, before you pay. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing.
If a trial is offered, it can be a low-commitment way to see whether there's anyone you'd like to talk to. It isn't a one-off, though: like every plan, it renews unless you cancel.
Before you pay: a quick checklist
Thirty seconds on the payment page saves most billing surprises. Check:
- The plan length and price, and what it renews at.
- The currency. Prices have been shown in US dollars.
- The billing name that will appear on your statement.
- The renewal date, and put a reminder in your calendar a day or two before it.
Automatic renewal, and how to stop it
Every membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you switch it off. To stop it:
- Log in to the members area.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Follow the steps to cancel, and keep a screenshot of the confirmation.
Do this at least a day before the period ends so you aren't caught by timing. Cancelling stops future payments. It doesn't delete your profile; if you want that gone too, use avatar > Settings > Delete Account. Account help has the step-by-step version.
Extras
Optional extras are sold separately, such as profile boosts, priority messages and an optional ID badge. You don't need any of them to use the site, and none of them changes what the platform checks about other members. See how the site works for what the ID badge does and doesn't tell you.
Refunds
Refunds are limited. Under the members terms, a pro-rata refund is only available when at least 40% of the paid period is unused. If you think you've been charged in error, contact the members help centre with the date and amount from your statement.
What your statement says
Your statement shows the billing name displayed at checkout, so look at it there before you pay if discretion matters to you. It may not say "Olivia Raven". If you later see a charge you don't recognise, check whether a membership is still renewing before assuming fraud. More on what shows where is on the privacy and discretion page.
Paying from Ireland or the UK
Members in Ireland and the UK can join and pay, but check the currency first. Prices have been shown in US dollars; if you're charged in dollars and your card is in euro or sterling, your bank converts it and may add a fee. Questions people ask
Does a trial renew?
Yes. If a trial is offered and you start it, it turns into a regular membership at the end of the trial period unless you cancel in Settings > Billing before then. Check the renewal price and date on the payment page before you confirm, and set yourself a reminder a day or two before the trial ends.
Can I get a refund?
Under the members terms, a pro-rata refund is only possible when at least 40% of the paid period is unused, so a refund is unlikely late in a period. If you think you've been charged in error, contact the members help centre with the date and amount from your statement. Read the terms before you buy.
What currency will I pay in?
Prices have been shown in US dollars. Check the amount and currency on the payment page before you confirm. If you're charged in dollars and your card is in euro or sterling, your bank converts the payment and may add a foreign transaction fee, so the amount on your statement can differ slightly from the price you saw.
Does cancelling delete my profile?
No. Cancelling only stops the membership renewing; your profile stays on the network until you delete it. Deleting your account is a separate step at avatar > Settings > Delete Account. If you want both, cancel first and then delete, so nothing keeps billing after your profile is gone.
