Four steps, and the first three are free
Olivia Raven works in four steps: you join, build a profile, browse, and pay only when you want to read and reply to messages.
- Join in the members area with an email address, a password and your date of birth. You must be 18 or over. Many people use a separate email just for dating, which the privacy checklist for women explains.
- Build a profile: a few lines about yourself, what you're open to, and usually at least one photo, which doesn't have to show your face. Profile fields include things like age range, distance, languages, smoking and drinking.
- Browse other members and receive interest from people who like your profile.
- Upgrade when you want to read and reply to messages.
You decide how much to say. A profile without your face, surname, workplace or town in it is perfectly normal here.
What's free and what you pay for
Looking around is free; talking costs money. Joining, creating a profile, browsing and receiving interest are free. A paid membership unlocks reading and replying to messages, along with features such as read receipts, seeing who viewed you and viewing photos in full. Free members see adverts. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing, and the members area shows each plan and its price before you pay.

Who can see your profile? The shared network
Members of the partner sites in the same network can see your profile and message you, not only people who joined Olivia Raven. The sites share a single member database, and profiles show which site a member joined through.
In practice that means more people to talk to, but also a wider audience for whatever you put on your profile. Choose photos and details on the assumption that anyone on the network could see them. The privacy and discretion page covers this in more detail.
What is checked, and what isn't
Photos are checked; what people say about themselves isn't. Every photo is reviewed before it appears, and the photo rules don't allow nudity or lingerie. What members write about themselves (age, situation, what their partner knows) is not checked by the platform.
ID verification, run by LEM Verify with a photo ID and a selfie, is an optional paid badge. It is only required for some sign-ups, for example if you join through a VPN or an account is flagged. A badge tells you someone matched their ID at the time; it doesn't tell you they're honest, single, or in an open relationship as they say. It isn't the right place if you're under 18, if you want every profile checked before you talk to anyone, or if you need a dating service that only shows members from one site.
